In Home Display Exhibited At SIEW

Connections, a global player specializing in wireless connectivity
solutions in cellular and short range RF technology, today announced
that its iTegno In Home Display (IHD) was exhibited at the Singapore
International Energy Week (SIEW) from 27 October to 4 November
2010.
The
IHD is a shot range wireless display device designed to tap on the
emerging smart grid market.With its low power consumption and small
form factor,it is an ideal device allowing utility operators to provide
real time usage information and tariff charges to consumers.The IHD
will retrieve this information from smart electric meters using the
ZigBee smart energy (SEP) profile.This information will then be
presented to consumers in an easy to understand format.
The
IHD received support from SPRING Singapore through its Technology
Innovation Programme (TIP) which aims to encourage the adoption of
technology innovation as a competitive strategy for enterprises.
